My interest in complementary therapy began 18 years ago when I took up meditation. This led to a BA at the School of Oriental and African Studies in Comparative Religion. Of particular interest was the connection, in Eastern philosophy of mind and body. I have studied meditation with many teachers and have taught meditation classes.Through horse riding, dance and Qigong I learnt the importance of flexibilty, co-ordination range of motion and right energy. Moreover how pain and dysfucntion can greatly reduce quality of life. This is what led to developing healing through bodywork. I hold qualifications in Massage and Myofascial Release. I am also an Equine Sports Massage and Myofascial Release practitioner. Further training includes Trager, National Federation of Spiritual Healers and Omega Low Level Laser Therapy.
I continue updating and expanding my skills with further related training.
